Sounds too much like a brochure[edit]

The introductory paragraph especially seems out of line with Wikipedia standards. Who is Elizabeth Kim and why is she being quoted? The school is 'magical'? That definitely sounds like a peacock terminology. There is even a grammatical error as a period is missing at the end of the sentence. Words like 'elite, privileged, excellent' and other wording make it seem very biased especially as there are very little secondary sources quoted to substantiate the claims. It almost sounds like someone (re)wrote the opening sentences tongue-in-cheek.

To substantiate claims of exceptional nature: does Seoul International School rank highly in interschool sports, debating, or other school activities? Do students get a lot of outside accolades or recognition such as scholarships, awards, commendations? Has the school ever been mentioned or written up in a newspaper or television? Perhaps you could even link to a YouTube clip if you don't have online print sources you can link to. What other noteable alumni has the school produced? Alumni do not necessarily have to be students who graduated.

Right now, the page sounds more like a brochure or mini homepage. Granted, school pages are generally written by staff or enthusiastic alumni so you take it with a grain of salt that the school is going to be written with the best spin possible. Even with that understanding, the article seems too puffed up with a lot of exceptional claims but not as much backing it up.Czecze (talk) 04:40, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I feel like someone's trying to convince me to attend this school. I wouldn't be surprised if the school staff had written this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 218.152.145.92 (talk) 17:31, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Who vandalized the school facilities section? 99.27.108.59 (talk) 05:34, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Far too mystical and everything is purely opinion-based. Not enough factual evidence. OImAProfessionalo (talk) 00:56, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
