I have created a new article at Selena Fox/Temp to replace this one. - AdelaMae (talk - contribs) 04:14, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

To upgrade article

There are a range of Wikipedia sources that can help you out. All articles must meet WP:V. To learn how to a proper citing style, consult WP:CITE. For what kind of external links are acceptable, WP:EL is a useful set of guidelines. Good luck! GBYork 17:58, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

Sourcing problems

Checking these sources, I'm finding the same issues with source-padding that were found on the Jeff Rosenbaum article, among others User:Rosencomet has "sourced" - a brief quote from Selena about Starwood, that sources nothing about her except that she went to Starwood, is used as a general source for content about Fox. A one-sentence mention is made to sound as if the whole article or book is about her. This is really problematic. - Kathryn NicDhàna 02:37, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

Also, while I realize she's well-known among Pagans for organizing Circle and PSG, has Fox authored anything that is not self-published? - Kathryn NicDhàna 02:48, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

When I traced the reference for the "When Goddess is God" paper, I found a different paper, written by somebody else. The article at the reference location did not mention Selena Fox.Folklore1 (talk) 02:51, 12 January 2010 (UTC)

I've searched high and low and can find absolutely nothing to substantiate the statement of negative portrayal by Pat Robertson / 700 Club . I could cite some other website, but I have the feeling that it would be circular - ie, they are retrieving their information from us! Nowhere can I find a statement that Ms. Fox has said this in interviews, nor on her bios. Neither can I find anything in the 700 Club published archives / info where they are 'dissing' her. I assume this probably happened some distant years ago, although stating she's "been the subject of repeated negatively-characterized feature stories" might be hyperbole. I hate to slay a sacred cow, since this remark is now found on numerous websites about Ms. Fox, but as I said, they might have taken Wikipedia as the authority...should this info be deleted in our article? This is the only item that still lacks a reference. Fylbecatulous (talk) 07:35, 18 December 2011 (UTC)

Criticism

This letter is a series of allegations with no evidence, filled with claims about conversations with unnamed "sources". It is not accompanied by its own citations or a response from Selena Fox. I have been a friend to both parties for over 25 years, and I see no reason to consider this letter encyclopedic. Bonewits and Fox had different approaches to the way they structured and ran the two organizations they each founded, but this single relic of that disagreement does not IMO belong in an encyclopedic article about Fox. At this point, it is simply a single preserved heated and unsupported statement about Bonewits' opinion about Fox, a derogatory one from a biographical standpoint, and does not belong here. Please refer to the guidelines concerning biographies of living persons at the top of this page; Bonewits' allegations are both poorly sourced and potentially libelous.Rosencomet (talk) 01:35, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

Undid vandalism

I received notice on 6/4/19 that the article had been edited to include a number of incorrect facts -- name change, birthdate, etc. Whoever Aalgiz1996 is: please don't do that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Robertpaxton (talkcontribs) 22:37, 4 June 2019 (UTC)
