Age at death[edit]

The article says 73 which matches the source, but the infobox calculates the age from the birth/death dates and the age is 65. Either the source for 73 is wrong or one of the dates is. MB 04:33, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hey User:MB, thank you for spotting that! It is actually quite a common problem in Nigeria where people change their date of births in order to have a longer duration of service in the civil service. So this confusion with the dates and quoted age is pretty much normal. I've removed the ages because I can't say for sure which of the dates is wrong. It's standard to use the calculated age in infoboxes. It would be likely to put back at some point by any editor who saw it was missing, so I've restored it with a explanatory note. I also put a tag on the birth date. MB 15:32, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
This is noted. Thank you! The Sokks💕 (talk) 17:32, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
