Treaty of Versaille and Covenant of the League of Nations[edit]

I removed the text stating that the Versaille treaty prohibited "Secret Treaties" as there isn't a reference to where it says so - unless someone can anyone cite which clause of the treaty prohibited them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Abraxas42 (talkcontribs) 08:27, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know about the Treaty of Versaille, but Article 18 of the Covenant provided:
Every treaty or international engagement entered into hereafter by any Member of the League shall be forthwith registered with the Secretariat and shall as soon as possible be published by it. No such treaty or international engagement shall be binding until so registered.
So the bit about Wilson's 14 points should be changed. 71.22.42.241 (talk) 18:32, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
