Contested deletion[edit]

It is significantly improved from a prior page that I started but was never finished. This page is well cited and is relevant due to the person's status as a professional athlete.

As the editor who brought this article out of AfC, I passed it due to the fact that it clearly meets WP:GNG. This was not true at the time of the AfD discussion, I imagine (I do not have access to that revision). However, I believe a speedy would be inappropriate for this article in its present form, and I believe it would hold up under AfD scrutiny as well. Dea db eef 22:00, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
