Doppler Radar[edit]

Maybe we should clarify:

In December 1968 Seaboard was forced to pay a $5,000 civil penalty to the Federal Aviation Administration, as its onboard Doppler radar was not properly certified.

..that Doppler RADAR is only for detecting precipitation, and is not used for navigation, and is thus unrelated to this incident. - Eric (talk) 00:40, 26 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
