WOSM member[edit]

I still say this somehow belongs as WOSM member association, as it went into the creation of the current one. Chris 17:01, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well the association doesnt exist anymore, so how can something that doesnt exist still be a member of something? Ablaze 18:57, 16 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The successor organisation (Scouting Ireland) is a WOSM member and therefore SAI belongs under the WOSM banner. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.148.84.121 (talk) 10:58, 12 October 2013 (UTC) "In 1968, the SAI became a co-educational association." This is wrong. In 1968 the Boy Scouts of Ireland conducted a review of the association similar to the Advance Party Report of the UK Scout Association. The name changed to the Scout Association of Ireland, there were uniform changes as well as a new badge programme. The SAI became co-ed (admitting boys and girls) in the 1980s. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.148.84.121 (talk) 06:00, 13 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
