Chapter titles[edit]

Can someone check out what the main chapters are called in the English-language version? J 1982 (talk) 18:13, 1 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Already updated.

After creating this article earlier today, I found this this draft, with other main chapter titles. J 1982 (talk) 18:17, 1 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
That was a draft I had translated from the Swedish, so those were English translations of the Swedish chapter titles.

It does strike me while glancing back at the page that the contents list box lies under the majority of the content, which is kind of peculiar. I think we could just as well delete the contents. See what you think.

Ask someone who has this book in English, or try to come across the audiobook in English. I checked out Spotify, but only found it in German. J 1982 (talk) 19:14, 1 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know anyone who has a copy. I found an English article which listed "Burned-out Humans on a Burned-out Planet" as chapter two, so that's correct. I'm fairly sure these are the right titles, but I can't find references.

Scenes from the HeartScener ur hjärtat – The book has not been published in English and does not as of yet have an official English translation. Per WP:NAME, the article title should be the original language title. 2001:240:2409:D0C1:C101:A261:F9E:3773 (talk) 10:30, 1 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that the book was published as Malena Ernman; Greta Thunberg; Beata Thunberg; Svante Thunberg (2019). Scenes from the heart, London : Particular Books. [1] JimRenge (talk) 11:57, 1 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
JimRenge - thanks for findingthat link, seems I was wrong. But the English title appears to actually be "Our House is on Fire", confusingly enough. That's what's on the book cover on your link, that's what's on amazon.co.uk, and also on the British publisher's website: [2] 2001:240:2409:D0C1:20A9:1FD6:1E03:546F (talk) 14:27, 1 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Correction btw, the book has not actually been published in English yet - penguin (link above) says it willbe released on "05/03/2020". So the article ahould be moved to either "Scener ur hjärtat" or "Our House is on Fire", though it hasn't actually been released under that name yet. 2001:240:2409:D0C1:20A9:1FD6:1E03:546F (talk) 14:32, 1 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I (the nominator, though my IP's changed) am not necessarily opposed to a move to Our House is on Fire, but the book hasn't been released yet under that name and won't for another 6 months. WP:ENGLISH/WP:ESTABLISHED states we should use the most common name used in English sources, but the book has hardly received any coverage outside of Germany and Sweden (yet). Wikipedia:Naming_conventions_(use_English)#No_established_usage_in_English-language_sources states we should use the original name in case there's no established name in English. I think it makes the most sense to move the book to Scener ur hjärtat now and then move it to Our House is on Fire in 6 months, after it's actually been published under that name and that title has become WP:ESTABLISHED in English language media. 163.49.204.128 (talk) 02:16, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

New article for March 2020 version needed[edit]

"Our house is on fire: scenes of a family and a planet in crisis" has now been published and needs an article of its own. RobbieIanMorrison (talk) 07:44, 8 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have researched a bit but still can't gauge whether Our House Is on Fire is more than just a translation of Scener ur hjärtat. The publisher Polaris has two editions listed [3] [4]. The first lists Malena and Svante as the authors while the latter lists all four of them as the authors. If Our House Is on Fire is only a translation of this book then it doesn't need an article of its own. I grieve in stereo (talk) 21:14, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
also, the copyright page of Our House Is on Fire says it is a translation of the 2018 book and credits Paul Norlen and Saskia Vogel with the translation copyright. I grieve in stereo (talk) 21:22, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
