Deg F vs. Deg C[edit]
A temperature difference of 20 deg F does not equate to -7 deg C. It equates to 20*5/9 deg C or approximately 11 deg C. 67.49.99.146 (talk) 02:27, 27 February 2023 (UTC)

Actually it's even worse than that. The seawater is doing a cooling job, so it must return to the ocean warmer, not cooler, than when it was taken into the plant. Unfortunately I can't access the original LA Times article. Blixton (talk) 04:44, 5 October 2023 (UTC)
