Initial article and its sources being removed[edit]

This information in this article was written as an initial draft from the sources cited. When you decided to remove the sources without removing the content you essentially moved what you considered to be an unverifiable article into main space. You linked to WP:Verifiability on your talk page, but that does not say that only sources with page numbers can be used.

All of these books have indexes. All of these books are searchable on Google books. However, none of that is mandatory. You may think you have to read an entire book page by page by page in order to find "cryo-scanning electron microscopy" to verify the information, but this is not and has never been true. The topic may be found in the index. If you already have the book to search the entire thing, then you have the index also.

You then attached this article on a general source to an uncited blurb from a microscopy center, which would actually be good to help a less knowledgeable reader write on the topic, but hardly a quality secondary or tertiary source on a major topic, and a article that is primary research that does not address the majority of the information in this article on the topic.

Page numbers are not required. You could have just written the article from scratch. But you didn't. You removed sources that I actually used to write the information. Proper sources.

Please don't continue to remove these sources. Other editors may find them useful also for expanding the article, whereas the sources you provided are useless for expansion. 2601:283:4301:D3A6:A8A8:96CD:72DD:1925 (talk) 18:24, 13 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Liquid nitrogen cooling[edit]

The JIC source is talking about freeze plunging, one method of sample preparation for CSEM. The original sentence about using liquid nitrogen describes a variety of sample methods that use this coolant, not the specific one. That is why the source should not be attached to this sentence. Freeze plunging can be cited to that source later if the article develops a sample preparation section, but the introduction should be about general sample preparation methods for cooling, not just one single method. 2601:283:4301:D3A6:3969:5FF4:D55:BB3B (talk) 19:11, 13 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
