Untitled[edit]

Hi, I am an undergraduate who has self assigned this page. I am considering deleting the definition of scaffolding. It seems like we could have a better introduction that doesn't include a raw definition. Does anyone object to this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by CharlesTheFirst (talkcontribs) 02:33, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds good - is there also a way to include the definition of "scaffold" somewhere in the article? It seems weird to talk about scaffolding (creating a scaffold) without having a useful definition of a scaffold (in bioinformatics) anywhere on wikipedia. The disambiguation page is very confusing as well: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scaffold_(disambiguation). — Preceding unsigned comment added by JSHuisman (talkcontribs) 10:51, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
