Someone should say on the main page what shitty quality G Drives are: DO NOT BUY! The drive is not reliable. Mine crapped out after 2 years of use, totally inoperable and I lost a huge amount of very valuable data. You need to have 2 or more separate back-ups of your data in separate locations. "Cloud" storage is complete bullshit as well: company will nose into your data, like PC repair shops do when you take your laptop in for repairs they nose through your passwords, photos–everything. G Drive will also steal your data if you "send it in for free replacement": do not do it! They will for sure look at all the data on your defective G Drive, it is all such a sleazy scam. They deliberately build them for planned obsalescence so be sure to have more than one back-up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.71.29.7 (talk) 14:07, 1 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Need to update relationship to Western Digital[edit]

It is owned by HGST, a subsidiary of Western Digital.[2]

Should be reworded as a Brand of Western Digital instead.
