Article issues[edit]

Before I start tagging this article,or attempting to work on it, is there an active editor watching it?

Outline for revisions[edit]

First, I will add some information to the Introduction section.

[That he was an American Clergy man, switch the order of his titles and add that he was possibly the second.]

Next, I will revise/edit the History section to include more information.

[I added in the name of his parents, included that their was confusion over to exactly when he was born, and included that he was of a Huguenot family. I added that he was a linguist, that he achieved his status as a decan and when he married. I added when he went back to America, that he received the degree of Doctor of the Divine, and that he was elected Chaplain of the Senate of the U.S.. I also made it known that he had health issues and what he died of. I made many revisions to this article as well.]

Last I will add to the references and external links.

Quebec[edit]

Are you sure about his Quebec ancestors ? It seems quite unlikely that as huguenots they would settle in what was then New France. Before 1760, the colony was very strictly catholic and definitely not a destination of choice for huguenots. Possibly the Second?[edit]

Was he possibly the second bishop in The Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States of America, or possibly the second Presiding Bishop? Regardless, I don't see a reference for either claim. Can someone better acquainted help with this? Trumblej1986 (talk) 20:54, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
