Why the hell is the comparison so important? It holds no value unless you compare it to every phone currently on the market.

I feel strongly about removing it completely.

???[edit]

450MHz CPU[edit]

"the CPU frequency has been pulled up to 450 MHz from a previous value of 330 MHz"

That may be so, but the spec of the CPU chip doesn't mean it runs at that speed. For instance, the PlayStation Portable didn't always run at 333MHz. Other examples may be found in CPU's/graphic cards used in computers or the upcoming Pandora handheld (which is clocked down as well).

At any rate, my own INNOV8 shows a speed of 329MHz using X-plore hence I kept changing the article. I'll maybe look into better benchmarking tools but I doubt they'll give me different readings..

Anyway, I won't change the article again because Wikipedia mods are ignorant and I don't want to be banned/blocked/etc. even if I am right. I'll edit the article with photographs of the readings when I'm good and ready.

As an additional add on to this is this small tidbit, which further questions the validity of the articles statement regarding the CPU speed (important part underlined): "This is the first 8 Mp handset to appear on the market. Sony Ericsson C905 is only due to release in a month, also displaying a poorer image quality."

As you may or may not know, the C905 has been released for some time now, so that's basically saying that this article assumes the phone to have the CPU speed as denoted from tech specs, not actually having tested the phone itself.

Yet I refrain from editing the article still on the same note as before (also, I've logged in to my Wikipedia account now as I'm writing this; 80.57.37.26 = me).

Updated article with an official source of the CPU speed to end this argument.. Agilo (talk) 01:23, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Availability[edit]

I removed The Samsung Innov8 is only available SIM free in many countries. Whether the cell phone operators in some country do or do not offer the phone at a subsidized price with their service has no effect on the phone. Allmost any phone is available only this way in a few countries around the world. Luka666 (talk) 21:58, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
