S. gairdneri also belongs in Oncorhynchus[edit]
Perhaps it would be better to mention in passing that Rainbow, Cutthroat, Golden, Apache, and other trout native to western North America were reclassified from Salmo to Oncorhynchus, instead of listing them under Salmo. 76.80.26.121 22:56, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
Incorrect picture label?[edit]
According to this note and this page, the label under the first photo is incorrect and should instead be identifying a Salmo trutta trutta. I will make the edit if no comments here in the next few days... --MStruzak (talk) 23:01, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
