Not a neutral source[edit]

"The church was used as a shield by the opposition armed groups during the 2011–2012 Syrian unrest", with this source: Gallagher, Tom (29 March 2012). "Christians in Syria struggle amid violent clashes". Retrieved 7 April 2012.

This is a prejudiced -and thus invalid- source. The church was damaged due to the nearby military operations, and if we are to consider who shelled it, then it would be the governmental army. Opposition fighters already dwelt the area, which is sectarianly mixed, constituting from Sunni Muslims -who themselves became the FSA-, and Christians. The whole area was a fortress of the FSA not just the church. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amin.noor.95 (talkcontribs) 14:45, 3 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
