Who the heck wrote this piece of PR?
OK< I added some stuff. The third bullet is NOT the same as the Bridge to Nowhere. There are two. My source is the New York TImes:
Now how do I make a footnote? Paul, in Saudi 12:07, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
- "Who the heck wrote this piece of PR?", well, I suppose that would be me. If you read through the original version of the article again, I think you'll note that it was not intended to be "PR" at all (hell, I included criticism and noted the "bridge to nowhere"; how can that be PR?). Anyway, for help on making footnotes, if you still need it, take a look at WP:CITE. · j e r s y k o talk · 14:06, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
Expansion[edit]
Could someone who knows something about this act please expand this? Is there still plans for interstates from Denver to Laredo etc? Kyaa the Catlord (talk) 11:38, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
- plans for interstates from Denver to Laredo Goodness no. The era of large-scale interstate highway building is pretty much over.
- Anyway, the problem with expanding the article is that the bill is SO HUGE that if you start talking about project lists (or even project categories) the article will very quickly become too cumbersome. The best Wiki could hope for is a small list of sample projects. It's also not really worth the work, since this bill will very soon become obsolete and garner very little attention from readers. If you want more info, click the Full text of SAFETEA-LU link at the bottom of the article and knock yourself out. - Jdmalouff (talk) 23:49, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
