No offense, but the Director of this group doesn't own this page, nor does he have the right to claim you need to seek his permission. This is Wikipedia, an open form encyclopedia. And guessing that because you are part of an open and free educational institution, including one tenet of academia that one shall not censor others, you might be violating the standards here. So it is perfectly okay to put whatever you want up here? Even if it is not even true? If the point is to inform people of this organization who would want all this silly useless information that nobody cares about... except for the person who keeps editing this wiki for their own personal and vindictive reasons... I would just assume this organization not even have a Wikipedia than have this silliness thrown out there. And no... I am not the director. I am the percussion instructor Adam Jones. Who is asking respectfully for the person who keeps changing this for their own personal reason to please stop. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.137.213.103 (talk) 03:14, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not saying that at all. What I am saying is the people here at Wikipedia take a dim view to those who are in official positions of the stated article trying to tell folks what can or can not be edited. Wiki is an open form encyclopedia. In addressing your question, you ask if its to inform people of the organization with useless information? I went onto your website and found very little information other than a basic overview. The stuff that others have posted in my opinion give more of the day to day activities of this group, which I actually enjoyed reading about. Put it this way, if you are a prospective student, wouldn't you want to know as much as about this group if you want to join than not? I know I would. I don't personally like getting sanitized information, that would make me suspect of what really goes on, not saying that things are in this group. I would advise checking out all the other university band pages that are on Wiki to see what they provide. I find the MSU Spartan Marching Band page to be the standard in this category. Friday, October 22, 2010 Look, the reality is, any information posted here that is inaccurate and/or out of date will be removed. Sanitized information? Suspect of what really goes on? Please. That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard. This is a university music ensemble, not some covert government conspiracy. Both Adam and I are current staff members of this organization and have freely signed our posts as such; we are clearly not some nameless posters trying to misrepresent this organization. Wikipedia exists to provide the public information. But no prospective student would gain any benefit from being misled by incorrect information, and the website provides all of the current information that any prospective student needs to know, as well as contact information for anyone who wishes to know more. - Glenn Disney, Events Manager, Department of Music, Sacramento State. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gdisney (talkcontribs) 16:16, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
