Thus, the pick up made by the polish freighter s/s Narwik was done twice. The long one on 20 life boats first, and several hours later the remaining lifeboat+two rafts... Its apparent if reading closely your narration, although it isnt clear cut in the text.
Yes, I was also reading the corresponding story told by the crewmen on s/s Narwik. As retold in the book by Eugeniusz Daszkowski "Narwiks last journey". Daszkowski was a semiprofessional maritime writer, and also, captained the Narwik in Narwik´s last years including this last journey to the junk yard in 1972./StefanZ78.69.228.145 (talk) 17:08, 10 May 2016 (UTC)/StefanZ[reply]
