Launching and decommisioning/sale/wreck of the Newfoundland[edit]

Does anyone know where to find where the Newfoundland was launched, by whom and when? Who owned her throughout her life? What became of her? I'm been looking on-line but half the sites mistakenly say that she sank in 1914 which isn't promising. I guess I'll have to pop by my parents or the library and take a peek at the Encyclopedia of Newfoundland and see what it has to say about the ship. Iainsona 04:03, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
