Russian studies and Cold War[edit]

Our article starts with a dubious reference to it gaining prominence during the Cold War. I am sure Russian studies flourished long before the Cold War. In any case, I have added reference needed just after that statement and in case reference not provided soon, this reference to Cold war needs to be amended. werldwayd (talk) 05:08, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
