Notability[edit]

Rosina Lippi/Sara Donati is a published author with a small yet dedicated fan base in the United States and Australia (as well as other parts of the world.) She is notable. lannalee 16:20, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Being published and having a small yet dedicated fan base doesn't not establish notability. Please see WP:BIO, especially the section on creative professionals. janejellyroll 23:27, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rosina has also won the PEN/Hemingway award for her novel "Homestead," as per wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PEN/Hemingway_Award lannalee 18:36, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia articles cannot be used as a source for other Wikipedia articles. However, I see the information is properly referenced in the article itself. janejellyroll 20:52, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As the subject of this article, I'd like to record a couple of requests and thoughts. First, I have now twice deleted personal information about my family; I ask that it not be put back to safeguard their privacy.

Second, this article has been flagged for an advertising slant or tone. I did not submit or cause to be submitted any material here, and I edit only for accuracy of facts. If it is reasonable for me to edit for a neutral tone (and I'm not clear on policy when it comes to subjects editing their own entries) I would be happy to do that. I'm not sure who monitors these pages, or if they are monitored at all. If someone with more experience would like to contact me, my public email address is rosinalippi@pobox.com

I will also check back here. Until I hear something definitive on policy, I will wait with editing for tone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Saradonati (talkcontribs) 19:49, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There is a photo of Rosina Lippi-Green on this University of Washington web page: http://staff.washington.edu/mkkill/english105a/readings.html#L A similar picture appears elsewhere on the web, but I don't know whether it's public domain. If you are interested, you might contact UW or the address on the course 'Homepage'. Cnilep (talk) 15:31, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
