Untitled[edit]

The line "Unlike fossil-fueled power plants, wind farms require no water and generate no carbon dioxide -- a heat-trapping greenhouse gas that is a major contributory component for global warming.[1]" sounds a lot like a sales pitch and all though true it's a general statement about wind energy and has little value in the current context. Beter to replace with the amount carbon emissions prevented and/or barrels of oil not burned. Pcmadman (talk) 22:04, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Capacity factor?[edit]

If there are actual generation numbers available (i.e., MWh/year, or Capacity:Generation ratio), we should find them; installed capacity is one thing, but says nothing about the actual output of the wind farm.

Size Comparison[edit]

The comparison of the wind farm to "Several times the size of Manhattan" isn't informative. It should be replaced with either an acutal number or a better comparison altogether. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Colorado2993 (talkcontribs) 20:41, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
