Famous rookies incorrect[edit]

The article repeats one of the Hobby’s most propagated falsehoods, that the 1952 Topps Mantle card is a rookie card. By all criteria indicated in the article, Mantle’s 1951 Bowman card is his rookie card. The claim of Wagner’s T206 card as a rookie card is equally dubious. My recommendation is to delete the entire section of Famous Rookie Cards. Jsmathematics (talk) 19:54, 2 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
