Phil Ochs suicide[edit]

Phil Ochs was not allowed to join the tour because his lacking ability to control his life (drugs, alcohol, etc.). Shortly after, he committed suicide. Can anyone confirm this? Ehjort 14:18, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dylan was introduced most likely to Shepard by Jacques Levy, who had been co-writing with Dylan some of the lyrics of the Desire album. Ronnie Lane's Passing Show 1974[edit]

Anyone with a Bob Dylan interest care to add the infuence of Ronnie Lane's 1974 The Passing Show on what Bob Dylan decided to try?

"Ronnie, with help from his wife at the time, Kate, becomes consumed with the gypsy lifestyle, resulting in Ronnie taking to the road in pure troubador fashion, to travel and tour. Basically, it involved a giant touring circus, featuring jugglers, fire eaters, dancing girls, and of course, the musicians."
