The result of the move request was: Consensus to move and most favored destination is Roborough, South Hams as best as I can tell. For the record, page view counts indicate neither is the primary topic.(non-admin closure) В²C 19:34, 25 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

RoboroughRoborough, south Devon – DAB from Roborough, Torridge per Commons:Commons:Categories for discussion/2017/06/Category:Roborough I agree with User:Nilfanion that disambiguation with "south Devon" (lower case per WP:UKPLACE as its not an administrative diversion) is probably best as this Roborough is not just in South Hams but also in Plymouth and West Devon. There is also Baron Roborough and Roborough Castle (not in either of these places) which can also go on the DAB. Crouch, Swale (talk) 20:54, 9 October 2018 (UTC) --Relisting. • Comment: Shouldn't that be South Devon? But I see usage in our article Devon is inconsistent and about evenly split. Andrewa (talk) 00:10, 18 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Andrewa: WP:UKPLACE recommends lower case as it isn't the name of a district, even though I would often think that compass directions are capitalized, see Woolston, south Shropshire for example. Crouch, Swale (talk) 10:26, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
So it does... and that's an official naming convention. Andrewa (talk) 12:08, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Case well made. Andrewa (talk) 12:08, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Roborough, South Hams. Can't see a problem with this. In general, Roborough is accepted as being in the South Hams district, even if it does extend into other districts. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:58, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • Either would do perfectly well, and a redir from the other costs next to nothing and would remove any possible problem with the choice made. Andrewa (talk) 14:29, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Roborough, South Hams as consistent with other similar cases. That is, when the place name is duplicated in the county, append the district name. Sussexonian (talk) 17:55, 23 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
