I'm watching the 12-12-12 Concert tonight on TV where the solicited donations are going to the Robin Hood Relief Fund. If that organization is affiliated with this one (it certainly seems to be), this should be mentioned. Likewise, if they are not, that should be mentioned. I see the bare sentence that mentions the concert as though it has already taken place instead of in progress. At least in the case of Hurricane Sandy, this group provided funds for volunteer relief groups and now continues to provide funds for basic support to those that remain disjointed and disrupted from the storm. The article doesn't include this as a aspect of their mission. http://www.121212concert.org/http://www.robinhood.org/rhsandy Thanks, Wordreader (talk) 05:54, 13 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If you have information about the Robin Hood Foundation and their activities that are supported by reference, please add it to the article. I believe the relief fund is one of their activities rather than a separate organization, and this activity is mentioned in the article. They also supplied relief for 9/11 families after that disaster. I believe they work by providing grants to non-profit groups rather than directly. Pkeets (talk) 00:25, 14 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
