RC Hamilton[edit]

Could the fact he was reffered to as RC be related to amateur status. Certainly it was common in cricket (and early football to a degree) to differentiate between players by using initials for amateurs and full names for professionals. He would obviously have been an amateur while with Queens Park, might he have also been at other points during his career? Caledonian Place 14:46, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
