Hangon rationale[edit]

Roark's Formulas for Stress and Strain was previously posted and deleted for specific reasons unknown; this new version of the article was patterned after the listing for Perry's Handbook (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perry%27s_Handbook). In using another handbook that has not been deleted as a reference page, the hope is that this page should not be deleted either. —Preceding unsigned comment added by UTSWeb (talkcontribs) 22:23, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article Name[edit]

I have nominated this article for deletion, however should the nomination result in a keep decision, the article should be renamed to "Roark's Formulas for Stress and Strain". --Aka042 (talk) 20:39, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Is there any reason we can't move it right now? Wizard191 (talk) 15:36, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Nope. I went ahead and moved it. --Aka042 (talk) 17:30, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! Wizard191 (talk) 17:36, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Roark?[edit]

Wouldn't it be interesting, if someone wrote why the name is "Roark's"? (The name of the author of the first edition?)
