The result of the move request was: Already moved (and that was the consensus here). Orlady (talk) 05:40, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose - Best know for being a member of the committtee on standards in public life and not a Peer. Also widely known for being head of ACAS and as a trade unionist and no dosambiguation of this article title is required.--Lucy-marie (talk) 17:50, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Support. WP:NCPEER is quite clear. This peeress is no longer wholly or exclusively known by her pre-peerage nomenclature. Kittybrewster 15:15, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Comment - Just because a move request is in itself contenious dosen't make the orginail undiscussed move correct. All moves need discussing and this discussion needs to be had to alllowed to establish if it is the concensus title.Lucy-marie (talk) 23:04, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lucy-marie, please check the page history and/or read what I wrote: the only undiscussed move of this article was done by you. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 23:18, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That is not quite true: the page was originally created as "Rita Donaghy" by User:Sussexonian on 2 June and was later moved on 2 July by User:Kittybrewster. You're may be correct, though, that once a page has been at a particular title for 7 months you have to take that as the base point for an RM request.  — Amakuru (talk) 17:35, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I had missed the 2 July move. But as you suggest, I do think that one an article has been at a particular title 7 months, that should be taken as the stable title, and a request to move it should start from that stable title. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 17:17, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Former public servants who have been ennobled are almost invariably known by their titles thereafter. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:33, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Comment - This is not a Crystal Ball and what they are currently known is what we have to take as the current commonly used name. If in the future the individual is known regularly by their ennobled title then that would be grounds to change the article title. To though say, it is expected that the names they are known by will change is not how things work on Wikipeida.--Lucy-marie (talk) 17:34, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
