Barry's death[edit]

Janine had wanted Barry's wealth so she married him, and then, following an argument the next day, killed him by pushing him off a cliff on New Year's Day 2004. Not that it's terribly important in this article, but whether Barry was pushed or fell is still a matter of debate IMO.

This episode guide suggests that it was a mixture of both "Barry moves towards Janine but she shoves him away. He tumbles over the cliff and crashes down the hill."[1]. I think we were meant to believe that his death was an accident, but she still killed him because he fell as a result of her push, then she left him to die while she picked a flower and undid his shoelace :) Gungadin 22:03, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image[edit]

Is it possible for someone to get a new picture to represent this article? I dont agree. He's not crying he just looks sad. To say Ricky isnt the depressed type is a little untrue, he can and has been shown to portray sadness. It would be equally inaccurate to put a picture of him smiling up as that indicates the character is always happy! Ricky laughs, cries, frowns, smiles, so it's fine to put an image of him doing one of those expressions. If we put an image of Ricky dressed in a blonde wig, then I would say you have a point.GunGagdinMoan 14:14, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Easier said than done. They're acting and each scene has a purpose, so finding a neutral expression isn't easy, and what's a neutral expression anyway? So long as it's clear and shows what the character looks like, then I dont see the problem. The Ricky picture looks ok to me too. Well I said as neutral as possible, I know some pictures have portrayed anger, which I don't think they should do. A smile or a frown is fine though. But they should be a typical representation of the character so someone in a wedding outfit, for example, shouldn't be used. I don't think that's an issue right now but I think one like that was used for Peggy for a while. I know it's hard to do as they're acting all the time. Although I am wondering if we should put "2008–11" for now (for Bianca too) as 2012 is a long way away and you never know what might happen, they might not make it back until 2013. Or the actors might die. So maybe we should wait until we find out they've returned, like with Tanya, Digital Spy reported that Jo Joyner had filmed her return. Exit 2012[edit]

In the Inside Soap Bryan Kirkwood said that "We can expect a big, colourful return to form for Bianca. We've missed Patsy's [Palmer] warmth on the show, and I'm really delighted that she's back where she belongs. Sadly, Sid [Owen] is only backfor a short while, as he has a lot of other commitments, so it looks like it might be the end of Ricky and Bianca when the past comes back to huant them. But we have a surprise for Bianca - Morgan's dad will be turning up. Kira Salter[edit]

Because all of Ricky's other children are added to his relative profiles. Clare and Diane never had scenes with Tiffany. Joe Wicks never had scenes with Morgan. None of either families ever had scenes with Natasha, yet their names are included in to family profiles so Keira or Kira or however you spell her name should also. She shouldn't be added to Morgan's page. Morgan and Kira are not blood related or related by adoption. Morgan is Bianca and Ray's son. Tony's name is on hs birth certificate. Kira is Ricky and Mandy's daughter. Unless Ricky adopted Morgan, they would only be step-siblings, and the last time I checked, the template you made doesn't have step-siblings. I just went and named all three of Bianca's kids without thinking. I didn't think that Morgan was Ricky's. He's alread a step-sibling, regardless of adoption. Owen denied that he has retired from acting and never wants to be on TV again via his Twitter page. And mixing character/actor up in articles can become confusing when there is no clarity. The current opening paragraph sounds like Ricky has retired from acting when of course Ricky is a fictional character and it's Sid who has apparently retired from acting.
