I've added several references that make note of his theatre career, separate from his Canadian Idol fame. There are many more articles that mention his theatre work, if one searches his name in the Halifax News archives, and in the Chronicle Herald archives, though the full text is not available without paying. Just chiming in, I found this article because I was taught by Richie a while ago.
