Sources needed for the following in the previous article entry[edit]

"White was dogmatic and inclined to controversy." Possibly true but I am having trouble finding a source.

In 1850, he married Alexina Black Mease (1830–1921) of Charleston, South Carolina. They were the parents of Stanford White, the celebrated New York City architect.

The revision that added this sentence Revision as of 02:25, 4 November 2005 (edit) (undo) was not from a logged in user so I am deleting it. It may be true to some extent as there does seem to be an instrument in the MFA Boston. That instrument is called a Violincello not a Viola da gamba as was in the article previous to my edits Geo8rge (talk) 19:00, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
