This article refers to Richard Carlile's wife as Jane. Surely this is confusion with the wife of Thomas Carlyle. Richard Carlile's wife was Elizabeth Sharples Carlile. (Harasseddad (talk) 16:23, 12 February 2012 (UTC))[reply]

Richard Carlile's wife was Jane. They separated and he then lived with, but did not marry, Eliza Sharples. RedKite (talk) 21:29, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
