Why only women?[edit]

The Rhode Island Heritage Hall of Fame includes both men and women. Why do we have a page for just women? Is there also a page for the men? Why not have a single page for inductees of all genders? - Kzirkel (talk) 15:50, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Kzirkel I pulled out the women inductees because proportionally they did not have articles and WP's +/-16% of biographies on women vs. men clearly is representative that there is a gender bias on WP. In addition, WikiProject WiR is preparing for an editathon on Women's Hall of Fame inductees thus, the list of red links of women is the basis of the focus. If you want to make a list of the men, feel free. SusunW (talk) 16:07, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

2020 Update[edit]

I just updated to 2020. There was only one new nominee. I also changed the order of insertion, to make it easier. The newest one gets inserted at the top. Much easier that way. — Maile (talk) 22:09, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
