Comment[edit]

Dear Fellow Editors, How about I add:

Quoins are the unit of currency and are records of past minds. The more bars on the quoin means the more minds are stored. During the current 13th Occupation, various aliens are collecting the quoins to sell them to the victorious aliens to continue tormenting those minds."

Please discuss. Geraldshields11 (talk) 15:21, 27 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Currently the Synopsis is written (slightly awkwardly and misleadingly in places, in my opinion having just finished the book) to avoid major plot spoilers, and the History and Persons sections usefully give background facts and minor points also without significant spoiling.
Although as an encyclopedia Wikipedia specifically allows spoilers – to avoid them, one should not read an article in the first place ("What, Juliet and Romeo both die?! Oh noes!!!") – but the nature of the quoins is a major revelation near the end of the book and would sit oddly with the rest of the article as currently written.
If this is to be added, I would prefer it within the context of a major overhaul of the Synopsis, and perhaps an improvement to the other sections' layouts as well. Others, however, may differ. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 2.218.14.42 (talk) 12:37, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
