Tail fins[edit]

The Submersible and Crew section here states that Pisces III originally had tail fins which were removed, and that they would have prevented the accident. This seems to be implying some kind of negligence or reckless disregard on the part of the company. However, the source given states that the removal was for good reason, that Pisces II was modified in the sane way, and that the design of Pisces IV and V omitted them for that same reason. It also calls the removal "ironic". So I have edited the paragraph to reflect this. Xyl 54 (talk) 19:50, 4 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

CCGS John Cabot[edit]

Would the Canadian Coast Guard ship John Cabot in this rescue of Pisces III be the same one involved in the 2023 Titan submersible incident rescue armada ? -- 64.229.90.172 (talk) 08:15, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Can't be, that ship was ordered in 2011, 38 years after this incident. GA-RT-22 (talk) 03:33, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
