Notability[edit]

Despite the album not yet having a name, this article has been cleared as an exception to TenPoundHammer's Law.--L1A1 FAL (talk) 23:12, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this article is absolutely deemed unnecessary (by group consensus) as of now, please revert it back to user draft status, rather than delete it, because I have put months of hard work into this and would hate to lose all that. Thank you.--L1A1 FAL (talk) 17:45, 19 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Album name[edit]

Where is the proof that this album will be called Death Machine? Dennisthemonkeychild (talk) 20:22, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No response so have removed references for now. Media as of today (20 May 2015) still has the album untitled.Dennisthemonkeychild (talk) 11:58, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Title: Repentless[edit]

Does the title "Repentless" even exist as a word? There's not much to find on the internet. There is a connection to the word "unrepentant", which is explained as "feeling or showing no sorrow for wrongdoing" on WordSense.eu. But that's all. The rest is all about Slayer's new record. Any native speakers here, who could write a bit about it?--87.184.140.25 (talk) 09:31, 23 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Asked about the title of SLAYER's forthcoming album, "Repentless", Kerry King said: "I made [the word] up. I didn't realize I made it up. I mean, it seemed like a word to me, and then I looked it up and it wasn't there." Thank you Kerry. --87.184.139.47 (talk) 09:43, 1 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Repentless is Slayer's eleventh studio album[edit]

If you do not count Undisputed Attitude as an album, it will add up to eleven studio albums. Also, as of January 10th, 2016, it says on SLAYER.NET, the band's official website, that Repentless is their ELEVENTH studio album which leaves Undisputed Attitude out of their studio album lineup. The real history about one of the members band is about the songs, plis searchng ashols.

GAN[edit]

I've nominated this at GAN (a cursory glance and the article looks just fine) despite not being a major contributor. I'm hoping that I and others can work on it to prevent the Slayer topic being demoted (current at WP:FTC). The Rambling Man (talk) 11:55, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

To let you know, I personally dislike Slayer, but I think it'd be a shame for a band of such fame to be brought down from all the incredible work that's been done. That being said, I spy a problem. The first problem I see is that the article's lead looks a little thin. Usually, a one-paragraph lead would fail GA nomination. Do your best to expand it, try taking a few general details from every section (try Endless Forms Most Beautiful (album) for an example - not the best writing itself but it's got good coverage.) dannymusiceditor what'd I do now? 14:46, 23 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
For a start, the lead section need expanding. --Jarodalien (talk) 07:58, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

GA Review[edit]

This review is transcluded from Talk:Repentless/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

I'll review this as part of the GA cup. I'll ping the main contributor L1A1 FAL to notify him that I'm reviewing this.

  • First thing I've noticed that the lead doesn't summarize the entire article. It has to be expanded.
Expanded! The Rambling Man (talk) 09:25, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • The formatting seems alright, though I suggest to avoid using semicolons for the personnel. The band and the production should be placed in sub-sections.
Tweaked! The Rambling Man (talk) 09:25, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • The reference formatting could be improved. I think it's better to write only Loudwire (not Loudwire.com as currently written) because the Wiki article is without the ".com" (and also add a link to its Wiki article). Same thing for Billboard.
Improved! The Rambling Man (talk) 09:25, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Check the external links. You have one dead link and several other that change path and need to be updated.
Fixed! The Rambling Man (talk) 09:25, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • You may add another review or two in the "Reception" to better reflect those featured in the table. You also might want to paraphrase a bit of those already there, because they are quite quote-heavy.
Add the most scathing review for balance. The Rambling Man (talk) 09:25, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Retrohead thanks for your comments. I'll try to address them as soon as I can and I'll also let you know when I think I'm done. The Rambling Man (talk) 18:14, 1 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Retrohead thanks for your comments and your patience, please let me know if there's anything more you need me to do. Cheers. The Rambling Man (talk) 09:25, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
