Volumes

Hey Red river is a really great manga! Does anyone know how many books there are in ALL. Even the ones that haven't come out yet? -Unsigned

I think there are 28 but where I live there are only 9 out. -Unsigned
There are 28 volumes total in the Red River series. They are currently being translated and published into English by VIZ Media. In America, volumes up to #9 have been released. Volume #10 will be released in January and Volume #11 is set to be released in March of 2006. It seems that they release a new volume every 2 months or so... -Unsigned

Manga summaries

I looked at the Manga summaries for this book and realized that, for the English Translation, the Characters are wrong in some places, misspelled in others and it looks like it was copied from another website. This needs to be fixed. I own the Red River books translated into English by Viz Media up to 14. The 15th is scheduled to come out soon. When I get the book and assuming that I would be able to put the summaries from the books up, I would put up the 15th too.

Would it be acceptable to put the summaries that they have on the books for each book, or is that in some violation on some law? I would very much like to put the summaries up on the page from the books. This way it would be accurate and the English readers who do read the book will not get messed up with the character names. Unfortunately, yes: reproducing the cover copy would be a copyright violation. Which is a pity, as those would be much shorter and not violate the WP:FICT guidelines for overlong plot summaries. —Quasirandom 21:00, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Interesting coincidence?

Güzel, Aslan, Şimşek (pronounced like 'Shimshek', means "lightning") are all Turkish words. Coincidence? We have also Ay, which means "Moon" in Turkish, but that should be just a coincidence. DenizTC 01:59, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
