Requested move

Propose that It be moved per the Wikipedia:Naming conventions (comics) guideline, to fall in line with all the others using (comics). Anyone have strong feelings and good reason why not? MURGH ^disc. 23:25, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Comment. That is surprising reasoning. A uniform disambiguation guideline is only effective if it is followed, per the agreed general disambiguation phrase used for articles related to comic books, graphic novels, comic strips, and comics creators is "(comics)". To minimize user confusion, it makes sense to avoid terms possibly referring to comedic performance, and avoid variations such as comic book, comic strip.. MURGH ^disc. 10:16, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

It should be (comics) in this case, per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (comics), as cited above. This is no different than Robin (comics). - jc37 11:28, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Um... actually "(comic book}" would be better in this case. There has been at least one other notable character called Ratman, from Willinghams Elementals. (Oddly enough Ratman does exist, though it looks like it's a vanity piece for someone's pet comic book project...)
Even if that is viewed as a non-issue, the consistently used, and preferred, base disambigus term is "(comics)". At the very least this article should move to that. — J Greb 17:23, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Since there seems to be a difference between Rat-Man and Ratman, I agree that it's probably a non-issue. And yes, (comic) should never be used. - jc37 01:56, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Wrote more things as the story as developed. I have also added sections regarding chracters and background information. Here's still hoping it's alright.

Changed all instances of "City Without a Name" to "No Name City" in compliance with the official translation used in the animated series.

An afro american police inspector, he is Rat-Man's best friend, and easily his only one. He was the only person to support Rat-Man after coming out of the coma and he has great faith in him. Probably it helps their friendship that he is almost as dimwitted as Rat-Man himself, not even realizing, in certain circumstances, Rat-Man's racial prejudices against him. His wife, Clara, constantly cheats on him but loves him deeply as well. They have a son, who is in fact son of the postman"
