Ambiguity in Release date[edit]

The information box on the right says that the release date is September 17, but the first paragraph says that movie is scheduled to released in October. Can some one rectify this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.166.160.184 (talk) 06:25, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No Citation specified for "Paritala Ravi is a Gangster politician"[edit]

The cats box says that Vivek Oberoi is acting as Paritala Ravi, a gangster politician, please provide a citation to both these statements, that vivek oberoi is acting as paritala Ravi and Paritala ravi is a Gangster politicain —Preceding unsigned comment added by 183.82.18.68 (talk) 07:09, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

why is the title Rakht charitra?[edit]

it is spelt wrong. it is rakta charitra. Can someone please change it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.147.224.225 (talk) 23:31, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There appear to be two legitimate spellings that are officially in use. Compare these two posters: [1] and [2]. AtticusX (talk) 12:25, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

yes but both tamil and telugu are titled rakta charitra. only hindi version is titled rakt charitra. It seems wrong to title it with the name of only 1 language version while majority of the language version is titled otherwise.seems kind of ethnocentric. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.147.224.225 (talk) 03:54, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

furthermore, if i'm not correct i believe even in hindi it is spelt rakta charitra but the a is not pronounced. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.147.224.225 (talk) 21:54, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If it's spelled Rakta Charitra in Hindi too, then what language is the first poster above in? It uses the spelling Rakht Charitra. AtticusX (talk) 05:11, 9 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

no i mean in hindi itself. not the english transliteration. ra khta cha ri tra. either way myf irst argument still stands.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.147.224.225 (talk) 20:24, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I can imagine several arguments against this move, including the article's statement that "the film was shot predominantly in Hindi". However, nobody has stepped forward to make any such arguments, and I personally don't have a strong opinion one way or the other, given my presently limited knowledge of the situation. I will go ahead and add this article to WP:Requested moves. AtticusX (talk) 07:22, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. but i'd rather you did it after you understand the situation fully. The movie is about events in Andhra Pradesh, a state in India whose language is Telugu. This movie was shot simulatenously in all 3 languages as far as I know. I have seen the Telugu version and the actors are speaking Telugu. To pick one language's title of the movie seems to be marginalizing the other languages. The hindi version is by no means the definitive one. Why can no the main title page be Rakta charitra with rakt charitra being redirected to rakta charitra? It seems rather arbitrary to have chosen rakt as the main title. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.147.224.225 (talk) 20:14, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rakht CharitraRakta Charitra — Film was released in three languages: Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. IP editor has argued that since the film is spelled 'Rakta Charitra' in two of these three languages, the article title should reflect that majority. AtticusX (talk) 07:22, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
