Subsequent names[edit]

If it passed straight from RAF hands to Bradford University, I can't see that it was ever called Bradford College Weather Station. The only place I've seen that name used in the onlinenutters blog which isn't an RS. NtheP (talk) 11:35, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, well it was copied pretty much straight from that blog anyway (look at the first version!) and I spent a long time cleaning it up. I did wonder which Bradford College it was, since the wikilink went to a disambig page, and it seemed unlikely that the UK Bradford College would have it. You're probably right to just remove it. The University grew from the technical collage next door, during the sixties, sharing buildings and plots for some time. There are still locked corridors that can allow you to pass between the two. They rejoined the collage in a super organisation when they also absorbed the NHS teaching hospital near the end of the 1990's, In the 1990's a robotic telescope was on the moor and the software involved was one of the origins to the Apache system - from former student at the time. 3 april 2012 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.40.144.68 (talk) 15:36, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
