Requested move[edit]

Certainly, it is a meadow, but it's simply called Rütli. All other language versions of WP which have an article use Rütli (resp. Grütli in some languages), including the German one (not the German equivalent of "Rütli Meadow", which would be "Rütliwiese", although this is sometimes used): de:Rütli. Rütli meadow is not unheard of in English, but it appears to be mostly so spelt: an explanatory phrase, not a proper name. In any case, plain Rütli seems far more common. Support. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 01:53, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Size?[edit]

How many hectares? The area pictured does not seem big enough to hold the Swiss officer corps. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 01:56, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Joseph Eutych Kopp[edit]

I read in the Wiliam Tell article this guy was burnt to death somewhere in Reuthli in the 1830s for questioning that myth. Is this true, and can it be put in the article? Enlil Ninlil (talk) 23:53, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It says his effigy was burnt. The real Kopp died in 1866, aged 73. —Tamfang (talk) 22:24, 13 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
