Overview

Overall, the page looks like a well referenced and structured song article. However I've got some concerns relatively to it.

Prose, OR and templates
  • First and foremost, shouldn't the December 30th release have a reference supporting it? I see its release is addressed only in the infobox and chart performance sections without a footnote. I did notice that in the Track listing section, you used a liner notes-citing reference (do its liner notes include any information on the radio release and promotional status)? If it's a promo single like it's stated in the chart section, the infobox should be changed to the promotional single box.
  • This article is relatively small; you could address the recording process in detail (who mastered it, who played the instruments...)
  • The use of "@" on the infobox seems too casual for Wikipedia.
  • "according to LA Weekly — this should be in the beginning of its sentence so it reads "According to (...), the use of the sample offended detractors". Could you substitute 'detractors' with a synonym?
  • Who described the positive vibe as (...)? Add that information to the article.
  • "anthough" — typo; "it is infectious" seems like your opinion, the sentence should read "despite considering it infectious"
  • Reference 3 is used consecutively (WP:OVERCITE)
  • ""R&B Junkie"'s positive vibe was described as a sonic "ambrosia".[4] Additionally, a "churgling synth burble" rumbles it. The song has "oh-oh-ohs" throughout the verses and on the chorus."" — doesn't flow
  • The reception section changes the tense incorrectly... in my opinion you should change the present to past tense.
  • Epinions isn't a reliable source... (WP:RSN)
  • 1982 is missing the closing quotation mark.
  • Which reviewer from Billboard reviewed the song? Why is that information supported with a BBC Music footnote?
  • Fox News is frequently a non-neutral source and while I wouldn't say it's Perez Hilton, I wouldn't say it's The New York Times either. If you can find a different source it would be helpful but not mandatory.
  • Could you use a div-col temp for the Credits section?
References
  • IGN Music is missing publisher, as is Yahoo! Music. Remove Prometheus Global Media to keep all the references coherent.
Links
  • All the external and disambiguation links are up to code; duplicate links excluding those in the lead section were checked.
I think it's all  Done. Thanks for the review. Alex talk page! 18:29, 31 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
