Apostrophe in name?[edit]

Unlike the college, the road signs for the lane do not include an apostrophe. Given the name of the college (and presumably the lane) date to before the rules on spelling were standardised, I am not sure whether this is a mistake on the part of the council, or a deliberate difference which has been "corrected" by third party maps like Google Maps.
