"Part of a series on" navbox[edit]

Regarding a sidebar navigation aid listing politician's bio, article about political positions, etc., some editors find such a template user friendly, others clunky/superfluous. In my opinion, the one for Sarah Palin-related articles, Template:SarahPalinSegmentsUnderInfoBox, is quite attractive; Mitt's, Template:Mitt Romney series not so much. In any case and for what it's worth, here's a breakdown compiled from Category:Public image of American politicians:

  1. Public image of Rudy Giuliani - used (It was just put back here; Template:Rudy Giuliani had been removed everywhere it previously had been placed.)
  2. Public image of George W. Bush - not used
  3. Public image of Mike Huckabee - not used
  4. Cultural and political image of John McCain - used
  5. George McGovern in popular culture - not used
  6. Public image of Barack Obama - used
  7. Public image of Sarah Palin - used
  8. Public image of Mitt Romney - used (but not on all Romney-related articles)
  9. Criticism of Franklin D. Roosevelt - not used

Problems[edit]

This page clearly needs to be amended. The "Philosophy" section is basically a discussion of whether religion should play a role in governing. It does not cover any broader subjects. Several links are broken. Some of it seems biased. A lot of it is highlighting things that were minor at the time or expanding negative viewpoints. I'm not going to fix it completely, but somebody should really put in some research and fix this up. --Bobjohnson111980 (talk) 05:24, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Puff piece?[edit]

Given the negative press he's received around the topic of Secretary of State nomination, this article reads like a puff piece curated by Giuliani enthusiasts. Anybody care to inject some perspective and recent news? Erxnmedia (talk) 14:47, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

2017-present update[edit]

I think this article needs an update regarding Giuliani's public image since 2017. BananaBaron (talk) 01:47, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • In fact there is little new covering the last 10 years. The image of "America's Mayor" has drastically changed. Flight Risk (talk) 22:54, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Yes, I was absolutely astonished there was nothing in here about his role as Trump's cheerleader and attack dog. It is going to be one of the most substantial components of his legacy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.74.39.228 (talk) 13:52, 21 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is any information out of date? Is anything missing that could be added?[edit]

This page seems to be outdated as the most recent event that is mentioned is when Giuliani was in the running to be nominated as Secretary of State under Donald Trump. There is no mention of the influence he has had in recent times as Trump's personal lawyer, including his role in both Impeachment trials as well as the controversy surrounding the 2020 election.
