Why is 728,000 sales being listed as 4 times Platinum? Sales of 300,000 equate one x platinum, meaning 2 times platinum for sales if it's sold (or is it shipped?) 728,000 copies so far. This is so frustrating people being so sloppy in updating Take That album sales all the time!.

Why is 900,000 still being listed as 4 times platinum? 1.2 million is 4 times platinum! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.186.228.10 (talk) 05:21, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • BPI Sources say that album is 5x platinum with sales of 1.45 million to dateYids2010 (talk) 12:55, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sales.[edit]

Something seems badly written here. In the sales section it states it reached 2.2 million shortly after it fell from the top spot in January. Then it says it finally reached the 2 million mark in April. Which one is it please? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.68.76.8 (talk) 16:55, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The sales figures in the first paragraph have no sources at all and could be fiction. In fact the 2.8 million total sales quoted IS fiction, it's more like 2.3 million. I'll try to find a source and change the entry. 86.178.73.8 (talk) 20:28, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Album sales[edit]

"This makes the band the only one to have four million-selling albums in the 21st century." This statement seems almost certainly inaccurate. I checked the only citation that might apply to that statement and it does not support the claim. I've looked around and can't find a comprehensive list which would definitively prove or disprove this statement. It should either be clarified, have a citation or be removed but I am unable to do anything as the article is semi-protected.Privateiron (talk) 00:42, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
