Pro's influence to the southern african hiphop scene is beyond major he gave birth to what we call "kasi rap" . In the genesis of hiphop in the westcoast of America you had hiphop heavyweights like Dre Dre, Cube, Eazy E (NWA) SnoopDogg,Ice T etc create the westcoast sound T.I,Gucci Mane,Young Jeezy are credited as the creators of trap music in the South. Same applies for MR P.R.O he was one of the first few dudes to rap in kasi lingo he represented the kasi lifestyle. Giving birth to kasi rap which later on went on to inspire wordsmiths like MICKEY M,SIYA SHEZI,Emtee Da Huslter and M.T
