Structure Section[edit]

I've realised that in almost every structural analysis of every prélude (Op 23), all those pieces are labelled as 'ternary'. That's false! In almost every piece the central section is developemental in nature (i.e. binary form). The central section lacks enough tematical 'identity' (i.e. it is not contrasting enough to be considered an independent 'B' section of an ABA structure) to be considered part of a ternary piece.

Those pieces should be re-labelled as binary. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.57.200.92 (talk) 15:02, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Flagrant original research and personal opinions.[edit]

Well, that article is a mess. just see this:

The performer's most demanding task is the maintenance of the listener's interest. Dynamics can be used to great effect, as can deliberate and distinct voicing. Use of pianissimo and even embellishment to a delicate triple pianissimo can be effective in capturing a listener's attention.

At measures 19-30, the performer must be sure to bring forward the eighth-note tenor voice melody. Using a firmer tone in the left and subduing the right hand should provide adequate

I'm removing such contents, and the structure analysis is pure Original research. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fauban (talkcontribs) 10:33, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
