Protected edit request on 10 November 2016[edit]

Power Rangers Ninja Steel starts early next year (date is unclear at the moment, but based on past Power Rangers seasons it'll likely be between late January to early March). I'm requesting that the redirect on this page be replaced with the information found at Draft:Power Rangers Ninja Steel (which is all the official information currently known about the season via Saban Brands press releases and such) so that things like show logo, characters, episodes/airdates, etc. can be more readily added as the information becomes available in near future. Lord Malakite (talk) 23:09, 10 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Noting here that the plot section of that draft seems to be copypasted from somewhere else given how many hits there are on Copyvio tools. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 23:16, 10 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Plot section is still a work in progress. The information comes directly from Saban Brand's official press release. References for the press release back from January 2016 (taken off the main Power Rangers page) are now listed. The plot from the press release is also mentioned if I'm not mistaken in the first reference that was already listed at the top of draft page. One thing to note, the original press release mentions that the main villain is named Zircon. This name was changed to Galvanax, as mentioned in the first reference (which also mentions that they re-casted the Yellow Ranger from their original announced actor choice). If you could resolve the copyright concerns and if there is no opposition expressed here then I will create the article for you. Please reactivate request when ready. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:38, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I endorse the request, but I wonder if the plot text is a direct copy and paste from the original site. 64.134.240.33 (talk) 12:24, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The plot text, aside from changing the original villain name of Zircon to reflect his newer announced name of Galvanax, comes directly from Saban Brands' official press release given to all media outlets. It isn't exclusive to the original sites sourced as said sites themselves are also only directly copy and pasting the plot from Saban's press release. Probably why it is getting many hits on Copyvio tools, because every media website that is reporting on Ninja Steel is merely putting up Saban Brands original press release. Besides citing a few of the websites that reported on and posted the Ninja Steel press release from Saban Brands (which has already been done), I'm not quite certain what else can be done regarding the plot section to make it more original to address the copyright concerns (until the actual show starts to air) as the press release is the only source for the plot at the time being. I think the article is about as ready as it can be to be created.Lord Malakite (talk) 23:26, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm. If we don't have enough information, maybe waiting for the show to actually air may be an idea? Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 11:33, 12 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

JJH's concerns are justified given the page has a long history of vandalism and deletion & creating this now would prolly invite the vandals to come back. I am open to unlocking the page if consensus proves the sources are reliable and edits by anon users are subject to review . This wouldn't be the first time a show's next season is written about, BTW. The sources just have to be reliable and confirmed by the networks. 206.29.176.53 (talk)

Done There have been no more recent comments so I have published the draft. This does not prevent someone using AfD if they think the article is premature. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 11:35, 15 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Why[edit]

How are they going to make a new series without finishing dino charge i was very angry when i read this because there can be 2 series at once because how are we going to keep track...i can barely keep up now with this and fnaf! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.110.34.65 (talk) 00:00, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Gold Ranger[edit]

I removed the gold ranger inclusion, mostly because its still a rumor who will portray it and also due to the fact that the only "source" for it is an instagram photo (which, at least for me, is not a veritable source at all) whit messages that show confusion and express disbelief at the idea that the actor in the photo, Jordi Webber, is the one to possibly portray the Gold Ranger If anyone has a more realistic, trustworthy source, please use it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drumerwritter (talkcontribs) 21:49, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wait a minute is Levi Weston really actually Aiden Romero, the long lost brother of Brody Romero? — Preceding 2601:C6:C87F:F902:DC30:596D:4CA7:A009 10:55, 8 September 2017 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:1810:B406:6D00:95FF:BDCD:8726:AC33 (talk)

Orphaned references in Power Rangers Ninja Steel[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Power Rangers Ninja Steel's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "credits":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 22:23, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
